The World Gold Technology Conference is a comprehensive industry event with broad global coverage and high academic standards in the field of gold technology. Organized jointly by the China Gold Association, the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SMME) of the United States, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, the conference is held every two years. In 2023, coinciding with Northeastern University's 100th anniversary, the event is scheduled to take place from September 5 to 7 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

This conference focuses on the global forefront of gold technology and the growing trends toward green, low-carbon development. It will feature comprehensive, high-level academic exchanges centered around topics such as gold geology, mine safety, green mining practices, deep-shaft mining, gold beneficiation and metallurgy, integrated resource utilization, digital and intelligent gold technologies, as well as platinum-group metal technologies and applications—driving the integration of industry, academia, research, and practical application.
Over 1,000 senior representatives attended, including key leaders from gold management departments and associations across provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), as well as leading officials from local governments in major gold-producing and processing hub regions. Also present were top executives from major domestic and international gold producers, precious metal processors, trading markets, and financial institutions.
During the exhibition, experts and industry leaders from various sectors of the gold mining industry visited Booth A40, showing great interest in BoShi Technology's permanent magnet motor products. They stopped by to learn more and engage in discussions, highlighting the competitive edge of BoShi Technology's permanent-magnet direct-drive motors in the gold industry!
The company’s permanent-magnet direct-drive low-speed torque motor and control system (PD series) are now widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and food processing, replacing the traditional (motor + gearbox) transmission setup. With the motor directly driving the load, this solution offers energy savings and requires no maintenance. In October 2022, China Gold Liaoning Xindu Gold Co., Ltd. underwent a transformation of its leaching tanks in the ore-selection workshop, replacing the original three-phase asynchronous motors paired with gearboxes. After the upgrade, the system has been operating smoothly without any failures. Notably, the permanent-magnet direct-drive stirring system achieved a 23% reduction in energy consumption compared to the previous gearbox-driven system—while maintaining the same rotational speed.
